Artwork

Simply put, I create artwork that I like to look at and be around. Being “in the zone” while bringing a piece to life is an unparalleled state of mind. Self-taught in sculpture and the visual arts, my style is my own and radiates throughout the media I work with. An air of seriousness, an element of whimsy. Something like Edward Abbey meeting Edward Gorey at Bread & Puppet Theater and strolling through a junkyard together in the moonlight.

The welded sculptures are assembled from salvaged and scavenged steel, collected over several decades. All are built to last, and are truly unique. The block print images and acrylic paintings are conjured up in my mind’s eye, travel through my hand, and, I trust, are reflections of things seeking some fresh air. My works have been shown in galleries throughout New England, and are dispersed across the US and internationally. If you see a piece here that particularly strikes you, please be in touch.

We can also discuss collaborating on a custom creation.
